Practical Experience
Tania commenced as a lecturer in the Commercial Litigation program in 2010. In addition to lecturing in the Commercial Litigation program, she teaches in the College’s Practical Legal Training (PLT) course. Before joining the College, she was a senior associate at CBP Lawyers in the Construction and Engineering Group. She has also worked as a solicitor at Norton Rose, London, and (what was) Phillips Fox Lawyers, Sydney.
She is a specialist in construction law and has experience in construction and engineering projects in the UK, Australia, Europe, South East Asia, the Middle East and South America. She has dealt with both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has advised in connection with a wide variety of national and international construction projects, including project financed and privately financed deals. She has acted for developers, financiers, project companies, principal contractors, state-owned corporations, consultants and insurance companies. She has concentrated on project financed infrastructure projects and power projects, including power station projects, toll roads, railways and defence projects. She has acquired significant experience in litigation, arbitration and adjudication relating to contractual disputes associated with such projects.
